What We Do
The Property Appraiser is an elected constitutional officer responsible for identifying, listing, and valuing all taxable property in the county. These values are used to determine how much property tax each owner must pay to fund essential public services, including schools, police, fire departments, libraries, and infrastructure improvements.

- Senior Citizen Exemption

- Widow/Widower Exemptions
- Agricultural Classification
✔️ Tangible Personal Property (TPP)
We assess the value of non-real estate property such as business equipment, machinery, furniture, and tools used for commercial purposes.

Our office provides interactive Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and parcel data to help citizens and professionals view property boundaries, zoning, flood zones, and land use data.
